P\u0159i pou\u017eit\u00ed lak\u016f doch\u00e1z\u00ed k podobn\u00fdm pot\u00ed\u017e\u00edm jako u email\u016f. Pon\u011bvad\u017e laky neobsahuj\u00ed pigmenty nebo plnidla, je t\u0159eba d\u0159evo (resp. jeho slo\u017eky, kter\u00e9 absorbuj\u00ed UV z\u00e1\u0159en\u00ed) chr\u00e1nit p\u0159ed \u017eloutnut\u00edm a tmavnut\u00edm. Obvykle jsou do nich p\u0159id\u00e1ny takzvan\u00e9 UV absorbenty. V\u0161echny hlavn\u00ed slo\u017eky d\u0159eva jsou tud\u00ed\u017e citliv\u00e9 na UV z\u00e1\u0159en\u00ed, co\u017e plat\u00ed p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm pro lignin. V\u00fdsledkem degradace ligninu je vznik l\u00e1tek, kter\u00e9 se lehce om\u00fdvaj\u00ed z povrchu d\u0159eva. Om\u00fdv\u00e1n\u00ed vodou a \u00fa\u010dinek UV z\u00e1\u0159en\u00ed zp\u016fsob\u00ed rychlej\u0161\u00ed zbarven\u00ed povrchu do \u0161eda a po\u0161kozen\u00ed d\u0159eva, p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm \u010derstv\u00e9ho. Tak vznikne typick\u00fd reli\u00e9fn\u00ed povrch. Stupe\u0148 degradace je \u00fam\u011brn\u00fd \u010dasu vystaven\u00ed slune\u010dn\u00edmu z\u00e1\u0159en\u00ed, u p\u0159\u00edm\u00e9ho vystaven\u00ed je je\u0161t\u011b v\u00fdrazn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lazury<\/strong> jsou m\u00e9n\u011b odoln\u00e9 n\u00e1t\u011bry s men\u0161\u00edm obsahem pigmentu, kter\u00e9 na d\u0159ev\u011b tvo\u0159\u00ed tenkou pr\u016fhlednou vrstvu, tak \u017ee je viditeln\u00e1 jeho textura. Lazury jsou vodoodpudiv\u00e9, kv\u016fli sv\u00e9 velk\u00e9 prody\u0161nosti d\u0159evu umo\u017e\u0148uj\u00ed \u201ed\u00fdch\u00e1n\u00ed\u201c. V t\u011bchto p\u0159\u00edpadech vlhkost d\u0159eva osciluje podstatn\u011b v\u00edce ne\u017e u nepropustn\u00fdch nebo m\u00e1lo propustn\u00fdch n\u00e1t\u011br\u016f (email\u016f). Kv\u016fli vliv\u016fm po\u010das\u00ed lazury pomalu eruduj\u00ed a tlou\u0161\u0165ka vrstvy se zten\u010duje. V\u00fdhodou lazur je jednoduchost obnovy n\u00e1t\u011bru.
